Renovated Institutions post Chennai-Floods

On 31st March was inaugurated the renovated premises of Madarsa-i-Azam High school in Chennai. The premises was badly hit during floods and United Way Chennai, in association with Citibank, supported the Home for Poor Boys and the school in painting 4 blocks, relaying damaged roads, upgrading sports infrastructure, lighting facilities etc.

2 days earlier, United Way Chennai had handed over electrical, electronic equipments and done civil work for Little Drops, in association with Citibank. TLittle Drops is an NGO catering to 400 inmates (aged and infirm) and mentally ill women which was heavily impacted during the floods.
